Winter Wonderland ~ Yosemite

My first time in Yosemite and it truly was magical. The world was blanketed in white, transforming it into a winter wonderland. I had a great time with my friend Linda exploring the majestic scenery.




The Bracebridge Dinner is a wonderful tradition held each year at the Ahwahnee Hotel. It is a night of Old English Fare, seven yummy courses, music and farce.

Ice skating at Yosemite is breathtaking. You are surround by beauty and get to skate to really good music.



I hiked out in deep snow and discovered this bridge.

Framed Vistas ~ Yosemite

Frame within a frame is one of my favorite composing techniques. I just love playing with windows, whether they be bus, train or plane. The first few where taken on the train from Emeryville to Merced California. The last ones where from inside the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite.

A foggy day at Fogarty Winery

The fog embraced Jenn and Jeff's wedding giving an air of mystery and the beauty behind all things. I got the chance to work with my friend and colleague Keith of Keith Nelson Photography. At the end of the night, the fog lifted to reveal a beautiful view of the ocean.

Sweet Obama

In the last month or so I have come across bake sales for Obama.

What a great way to support our candidate of choice... with homemade sweets and dog treats. I myself had a delicious cupcake and Ruby, a gordon setter, had a yummy dog treat. This image is of the bake sale held at Piedmont's Harvest festival.

Voting is coming soon and with it change, I hope for the better and of course more yummies...

Point Reyes

My friend Deloise and her husband Tom came to visit. We spent a day going to Point Reyes Lighthouse, driving up the coast stopping at little timeless towns and then strolling down Petaluma's River walk. It was great to being with them and enjoying the beautiful Northern California landscapes.
